The sun is out and in Vancouver, that means its patio season! That also means longer days and longer days mean more day drinking! My personal favourite time of day to drink if I’m being honest. I think that's why they call it happy hour. I just call it late lunch. Nothing like a hot day and a cold local brew to beat the summer heat.
Vancouver restaurants are expensive AF so happy hour is a great time to be able to enjoy places that would otherwise be out of my budget. For those of you born before 1995 you might not remember Vancouver without a happy hour. It was as recent as 2014 that BC finally opened its doors to the idea of our beloved 4-7pm liquid dinners and now there's no stopping us!
