While they rule the whole country, you literally can’t decide what to have for breakfast in the morning. While they whizz around the world on a private jet, you wonder about whether you should be tipping your Uber driver. However, occasionally you will get a small glimpse into a politicians’ life, like with these Justin Trudeau photos, and it makes you wonder whether they are actually just like us after all.
Not one to shy away from social media, Justin Trudeau is an active user of both Twitter and Instagram, and often shares pictures of what he is up to with his millions of followers. Like millions of other parents this week, Justin got his kids up and ready for the first week back to school. Here he can be seen joining his family as he drops the kids off for their new term.
Admittedly, he looks a bit too well-dressed and relaxed to be having a totally ‘normal’ busy school morning, but he’s trying, right?!

Here Trudeau is doing that classic ‘dad’ thing of just letting you win, even when you don’t deserve to. As Trudeau is 6 ft 2’ and definitely taller than the basketball post in this picture, we can assume he wasn’t really getting beaten by his son.

Stressing at Christmas time
This is a classic pre-argument family Christmas picture. Justin can definitely sense there’s an upcoming row over which kid is going to place the last decoration on the tree, and his eyes are already watering in anticipation.
Smiling through his tears, Justin is trying to ignore the stresses of Christmas, and especially the drama of trying to decorate a Christmas tree with multiple children. He’s wondering why they do this to themselves every single year, but is smiling for the family photo all the same.
He might be Prime Minister, but even he can’t negotiate a deal between three children who all want to put the ‘special’ bauble on the tree.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t know any other world leader that has dressed up with his whole family for Halloween. While there might be a good reason for that, you’ve got to applaud Trudeau’s dedication to his costume, and ‘Clark Kent/Superman’ is the exact kind-of dodgy outfit choice you would expect from your dad!
Questionable Fashion Choices
Much like all of us, Trudeau has definitely made some fashion faux-pas in the past. Assuming he doesn’t have a personal stylist, as one would have never let him lose in that ensemble, Justin is guilty of taking mix-and-match a bit too far.
