The man moved to California with an allowance of $18,000 a month over seven years and worked in a number of creative roles. He has his own film called Bald and is an executive on the graphic novel, Syndrome, which came out in 2010.

What is interesting about the Syndrome is the very graphic murder scene. The plot of the book revolves around a crazy doctor testing his theory that he can get to the root of evil in a humans brain. He then decides to test this theory on a serial killer, torturing him in the process.

The judge said that they found Kaisan's body after her mother reported her missing. She was found in the home she shared with Leibel, in what was described as a blood-spattered master bedroom.

The judge on the case said that Leibel had tortured Kaisan alive and the crime followed a script of the graphic novel. The Canadian man is facing life in prison after he's sentenced on June 26.
