After reports broke that the 25-year-old singer was in the hospital after overdosing on heroin, many people were taken back. Lovato was previously six years sober and had always been very vocal about suffering from addiction and depression in the past.
@ddlovatoNow Hit 93 is using this tragic time, both in Toronto and for Lovato, to spend an hour listening to the artist's music commercial free to show solidarity with her struggle.

Tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET, we’re going to dedicate an hour — commercial free, of course — to Demi Lovato and her music. While it's not clear if it's solely for Lovato fans who are upset or also the many people in Toronto who have been shaken by the recent mass shooting, it's greatly appreciated by all.
The singer was actually scheduled to play a show in Toronto this Sunday, July 29 at Budweiser Stage. While Lovato is reportedly awake and stable at this time her show has been cancelled.
