Eugénie Bouchard Is Selling A Dinner Date & The Bids Are Getting Ridiculous
If you’ve ever dreamed of dating a celebrity, here’s your chance! Tennis superstar Eugénie Bouchard is selling a one-on-one special evening, and all you have to do is bid for it. However, be prepared to empty your wallet, as a date with Eugénie Bouchard apparently doesn’t come cheap!
Quebec’s Eugénie Bouchard has proved in the past that she’s not afraid to get up-close-and-personal with her Canadian fans. She’s accepted dates with fans before, whether it’s for a bet, or for a good cause.
This time, Bouchard is proving that a date with her is worth mega-bucks, as she’s auctioning off a special evening to help raise money for charity.
As part of the ALL IN Challenge, which aims to feed vulnerable people, Bouchard is offering a seriously impressive package.
If you bid on the auction, you’ll receive the ultimate tennis experience. It includes watching Bouchard play in “ANY tournament,” spending time in her player box, having dinner with the superstar, and being gifted with a signed racket.
Even better, it’s all expenses paid. (After you’ve placed a hefty bid, of course!)
However, if you're interested, you'll need to be prepared to get ruthless. Bids for the date are already reaching ridiculous prices, and people are already dropping thousands.
Naturally, for such an opportunity, you have to have deep pockets.
The auction started at a whopping $2,500, and at the time of writing, the highest amount offered was $12,000. Eek!
There's still 16 days left to bid too, so no-doubt this price will keep increasing.
While this is probably the most expensive date any of us would have been on, it's definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience, especially for a tennis-superfan.
If you’re considering dropping the big bucks, you can be assured that Bouchard is unlikely to be a boring date.
In 2017 she actually dated one of her fans, after a Twitter bet went a little bit wrong.
After incorrectly predicting that the Atlanta Falcons were going to beat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 2017, she followed through with her bet and dated one of her fans for a little while.
It even inspired a film pitch!
More recently, the athlete agreed to go on a date with YouTuber and actor, Bob Menery, after he promised to donate US $4,000 to support hospital workers in exchange for dinner.
The ALL IN Challenge asks famous athletes, celebrities and artists to auction different experiences, in order to raise money to feed people in need.
Regardless of how much Eugénie Bouchard ends up raising during this auction, it's all going to a great cause.
Someone is going to land a great date, too. It's a win-win!
