San Antonio Is Hosting A Free & Magical Holiday Light Festival This Month

It's the most wonderful time of the year.

Texans go big or go home for pretty much everything, and this is especially true for the state's Christmas events. A holiday festival in San Antonio proves this each and every year, and now that we're finally in the month of November, the countdown until this fest is officially on. When you spot the millions of twinkling lights, you'll know you're there.

The University of Incarnate Word's Light the Way Holiday Festival is back again this year and better than ever. The fest will be on Saturday, November 23 from 3 to 9 p.m. and the cherry on top of the cake is that it's completely free to park and get inside! Shopping for your loved ones for Christmas can get expensive, so it's definitely nice to know where you can spend quality time with them without breaking the bank.

While on the topic of breaking the bank, it's inevitable to not go shopping for your loved ones. At the festival, there'll be 45 local vendors in the gorgeous Holiday Shoppe to shop through and find awesome gifts. Plus, over a dozen food trucks in their Food Truck Yard. Yum!

Live performances and musical entertainment will also be present during the fest, so you can dance the night away with your boo or even your bestie. Whoever you take to the festival, we know they'll appreciate it.

The lights at the festival will officially be on at 6:15 p.m. so if you don't spot the twinkling right away, you know when to stick around until so you can! Now, all Texas needs is a little bit of snow. Or, a lot.
