Downtown Houston Just Got A New Secret Underground Nightclub And You Have To Find It
Forget your surroundings for a second. Pretend you're reading this on a folded up napkin someone just slid to you at a low-lit bar. In blotchy ink, you're invited to a mysterious address in downtown Houston. In a basement hidden somewhere in the city, underground nightclub BASE is official open as of Friday, May 31 and you need to check it out—if you can find it.
It's so secret they don't even release the address on their website. But good thing you got this sketchy note. To accept your mission, text BASE to 345345 to find out the location. And don't forget to text your email address so you can get put on the guest list.
BASE is open Friday and Saturday 10 pm to 2 am.
When you get to the location, head through the lobby of the building, and venture down the elevator, and there you will find the hidden nightclub.
What do you find, you ask? The new hot spot is dubbed as the "billionare's basement"—DJs, a dance floor, cocktails galore, bottle service, and ambiance that will have you totally dooped into thinking you're a lot cooler than you may be.
I mean seriously, look at this bottle service.
Whether you're Rory looking for your own Life & Brigade or Ethan Hunt trying to hunt down an assassin, it's a lot more fun if you pretend you're on a secret mission finding this hidden spot.
And as for their dress code, they recommend you come ready to "dress to impress." So that Mission: Impossible fantasy shouldn't be too hard to live out.
This place might be the new bar on the block, but they know exactly what they're doing. BASE comes from Concepts To Fruition (C2F), who have successfully operated several places in Midtown and on Washington Ave. And this new bar is anticipated to be the hot spot of the summer.
