Today is the day we have all been waiting for — Election Day.
There is growing concern in cities nationwide about violence, civil unrest, and protests regardless of the election’s outcome, and Atlanta is no different.
Businesses across the country have boarded up their windows and doors in preparation, including shops at Atlanta's Lenox Square Mall.

Lenox Square began boarding up stores around the perimeter of the mall to prevent break-ins & looting.
Boards have been put on the doors of the main entrance as well.
Workers were actively putting up boards on the Nike store at Lenox Square.
The mall was looted earlier this year during protests regarding racial injustice and controversial police shootings.
Businesses are taking preemptive measures this time around, but the boards have given the mall an eerie feeling of impending trouble.
