The storm will come up into Canada via the U.S. Eastern Seaboard, says Weather Canada, and the effects will be different in each province.

Residents of southeastern Quebec can expect strong winds and up to 30 centimetres of snow, depending on the path of the storm.

Along with 70 km/h winds, people in Nova Scotia can expect 20 cm of snow which will turn into 60 mm of rain as the storm progresses.

Conditions in P.E.I. will largely be the same, with 25 cm of snow, 20 mm of rain, and 90 km/h winds expected in parts of the province.

Newfoundland will see something slightly different — Weather Canada advises residents to look out for snow on Tuesday night that turns into ice pellets and eventually into rain on Wednesday.

There are currently no special weather alerts in place for Labrador.
