Mutts Canine Cantina is a dog-friendly bar joined with a big off-leash dog park where both owners and dogs can go to enjoy a wonderful Texas day. The cantina and park will be opening 3 Austin locations within the next 3 years so there will be enough dogs and drinks to go around!
Mutts Canine Cantina has locations in Dallas and Fort Worth, and the large community of dog lovers in the area is obsessed with the bar and dog park mix! The owners of the dog-friendly cantina want to expand their business to Austin to include the well-known pet enthusiastic city in all the fun.
The biggest part of Mutts is its exciting off-leash dog park, where dogs of all sizes can play together. The dog park has a large area for dogs to run off-leash and chairs for owners to socialize while their pups get to play. To make the dog park environment as worry-free and safe as possible, all dogs must be over 4 months old, have their vaccinations and be spayed or neutered. The safety, cleanliness and good vibes that Mutts provides to its guests are what makes it one of the best dog parks in Texas!
The cantina attached to the dog park is also a major hit for visitors. They offer a variety of cocktails, shakes, wines, and beers. They also have an assortment of alcoholic popsicles for those hot, sunny days. All drinks range from $3 to $10 throughout the week, with $3 frozens and draft beers at "Yappy Hour" on Mon-Fri from 4-6pm. You could spend all day at the park with your happy furry friends!
For hungry dog owners, Mutts serves classic chicken sandwiches and burgers. There is also a menu just for dogs that includes a beef broth "pupsicle" and a beef frank.
Mutts is proud to host a ton of fun, unique events for its members and visitors every year, from Halloween parties to adoption events! They now host a regular dog movie night in the park where they blow up a giant movie screen and play dog-themed movies.

This gives you unlimited access to the off-leash dog park and park attendants that pick up after your pet and keep them hydrated and happy throughout your visit. The new Mutts locations are predicted to be in or around Round Rock, Cedar Park, West Lake, or Central/Downtown. The first Austin location should be opened by the end of 2019.
