A culinary love affair.

Attention all Big Mac and Poutine lovers. On June 20th, a concoction of decadent artery clogging proportions is coming to Smokes Poutinerie. It's called the Mac Daddy, and you guessed it, the toppings are rumoured to include: big mac special sauce, pickles, ground beef, cheese and sesame seeds.

Lawsuit filed over Trump's tariffs on Canada

A lawsuit challenging U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs targeting Canada has been filed in the United States Court of International Trade.

The lawsuit, filed today by the non-profit Liberty Justice Center on behalf of U.S. food importer Gellert Global Group, argues Trump's use of a Depression-era trade statute exceeds his power as president.

33 still in hospital after base fire: McGuinty

Defence Minister David McGuinty says 33 members of the Canadian Armed Forces remain in hospital after a deadly fire swept through a training ground at the military base in Wainwright, Alta., on Saturday.

McGuinty was in Wainwright on Monday, where he visited both the base and CAF members who are recovering in a local hospital.
