The Calgary Zoo has been making headlines for all the right reasons this year. Just last month, the zookeepers managed to save a baby penguin by patching up it's broken egg with the discarded remains of a years-old Humboldt penguin egg. Due to this, they were able to save the little chicks life, who is now living a happy life at the zoo. Now, the zoo is back with another wholesome story.
The Calgary Zoo has confirmed with Narcity that two male king penguins are co-parenting a baby. If that doesn’t melt your heart then I don’t know what will.
According to KelownaNow, the two penguins are Arthur and Nero. They have been tackling the parenting thing together and are actually doing a phenomenal job.
The dynamic duo has been sharing the task of incubating, feeding, and protecting the new chick that hatched just two weeks ago.

Parenting shouldn’t be taken lightly and according to Malu Celli, the curator at the zoo, the two penguins are taking their new life very seriously. They even helped incubate the egg for almost two months.
According to the Calgary Zoo Facebook page, Diana, a mother penguin at the zoo, was already fostering a chick from another couple which is why they gave the egg to the two dads.
