You Can Ride The Halifax Transit For Free On New Year's Eve
No need to wait in the freezing cold for a cab this year – Halifax Transit is offering their services free of charge this year on the night of December 31st starting at 6pm, and will be working into the early hours of the morning on January 1st to get everyone home safe and sound. Busses anf ferries will be running all over the HRM so that New Years Eve party goers can leave their cars at home and avoid drinking and driving.
This free and extended service is offered to support MADD Halifax in their mission to stop impaired driving and to support victims of this violent crime.
