Canada's Christmas Train Makes Its First Stop In Toronto Next Week

All aboard!! 😍 🎄 🎁 🚂

Santa's sleigh might be the best well-known ride for the holidays, but in Canada, the CP Holiday Train is the real ride you don't want to miss.

Every year, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train embarks on a nationwide journey to herald in the holiday season, making stops along the way to countless Canadian cities.

This year, CP will be closing out it's Canada 150 celebrations with its 19th annual Holiday Train, which raises funds and goods for local food banks across Canada and the U.S. It even crosses the border, making stops at American cities to spread the cheer of the holiday season.

Decked out in the most insane Christmas lights that will light up your life, these holiday trains (yes, there's two of them) take off from Montreal on November 25 and 26, 2017 respectively, reaching 182 communities and cities along the way.

And now, with the Christmas trains officially hitting the road in just two days, they will be making their first stop in Toronto next week!

On Tuesday, November 28, from around 8:15 to 9 p.m., the infamous Canadian "Polar Express" will make its Toronto stop located at 750 Runnymede Road near Dundas St. and St. Clair West. From there, it will be heading North to Vaughan on November 29, at 10 a.m.

The event festivities along the way are completely free; all they ask is that you open your hearts for the season of giving and make either monetary or food contributions to the cause.

And the 2017 edition of the CP Holiday Train will be adorned with lights and decorations inspired by the Spirit of Tomorrow car, which was part of the Canada 150 Train this past summer.
