Alison Thornton

20-year-old Alison Thornton, originally from Vancouver, has spent the last couple of years guest-starring in episodes of shows like The 100 and Supergirl. She recently landed a huge role on Netflix’s Dare Me and currently has a movie, The Mental State, in post-production.

Thornton recently spoke to Narcity about her experience starring in her first-ever series.

Netflix’s newest reality series, Too Hot To Handle, brought this 25-year-old Canadian into the spotlight. Francesca Farago splits her time between Vancouver and Los Angeles working as a travel influencer.

Anna Cathcart

Lara Jean and Peter Convinsky might have stolen your hearts in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, but some might argue that Anna Cathcart’s character, Kitty, was the highlight of the film.

16-year-old Cathcart was born in Vancouver and also stars in Disney’s The Descendants and the children’s show Odd Squad.

Jacob Tremblay has been shocking people with his amazing acting skills since winning prestigious awards for his film Room. The 13-year-old Vancouver native has gone on to star in movies like Good Boys and The Book of Henry.

17-year-old Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, originally from Vancouver, has made the most of his fame. Besides his hit Netflix series, he’s starred in both IT and IT: Chapter Two as well as the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot.

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan told Narcity her life completely changed after booking her first Netflix series. Never Have I Ever, Mindy Kaling’s newest coming of age comedy, also happens to be the 18-year-old’s first professional acting gig ever.

TikTok has become a huge part of mainstream entertainment and this Torontonian is currently killing the game. Boman Martinez-Reid’s mock reality TV segments have gained him nearly 1 million followers in just a few short months.
