A Canadian Man Was Arrested After Being Found Drunk & Covered In Nacho Cheese
In a story that is as hilarious as it is bizarre, a Canadian man that was wanted by Calgary police has finally been arrested, after he was found by Manitoba police officers heavily intoxicated, and covered in nachos and cheese!
According to a report from Brandon Police, officers were called to a Manitoba business at approximately 10:50 p.m. on Friday night, following reports of a “suspicious male” who was “acting weird.”
When Brandon Police officers arrived at the scene on 3500 block Victoria Avenue, they found an extremely intoxicated male on the ground, who appeared to be covered in nachos and cheese.
Reports from Brandon Police suggest that the drunk man had been attempting to ride his bicycle while carrying his late-night snack, and had fallen off, spilling his nachos and cheese “all over him.”
Things went from bad to worse for the man, after Brandon Police did a CPIC check on him. Officers discovered that the intoxicated bike-rider was actually wanted by Calgary Police Service, for “sexual assault on an unendorsed warrant with a Western Canada radius.”
This is not the first time Canadian police officers have had to respond to unusual, food-related incidents. Earlier this year, a Halton driver received a ‘careless driving’ ticket and a hefty fine, after being caught attempting to drive while eating poutine!
A similar incident occurred just one week ago in British Columbia, when a woman was pulled over by the RCMP for attempting to steer her car while eating ramen noodles! The driver was issued with a considerable fine, and officers accused her of endangering her own life, and the lives of others!
Brandon Police have now taken the nacho-man to jail, where he will wait on a six day remand until Calgary Police Service come to pick him up.
