Canadian Man Has Been Charged After Crashing His Semi Truck Into The Side Of A Building (PHOTOS)

76-year-old Canadian has been charged with careless driving after driving his truck into the side of a building.

This afternoon, Sgt. Kerry Schmidt from the OPP released information about a driver who has been charged with careless driving after crashing his semi truck into the side of a building near Greenbank, Ontario. The incident occurred after the driver hit a car, before going off the road and into a building. The driver has since then been charged with careless driving.

That's right, a 76-year-old man from Winnipeg, Manitoba, who was behind the wheel of the semi truck, crashed his massive vehicle into both a small car and a restaurant wall near highway 12/47 in Greenbank.

In a tweet, Sgt. Kerry Schmidt showcases two crazy photos of the incident. The first photo shows a grey car with its one side entirely smashed in after the transport truck had hit it. The second photo showcases the front of the transport truck smashed into the side of the wall in the restaurant.

It appears that the semi truck first hit the car, before going off the road and hitting the wall of the building. Police have not yet reported if there have been any injuries to the drivers involved or to anyone who may have been in the restaurant at the time the transport truck rammed into it.

In the tweet, Sgt. Kerry Schmidt was even seen poking fun at the driver, using the two hashtag, #IsYourDriveThruOpened and #DIYDriveThru. With the hole that the transport truck seems to have left in the side of this restaurant, these jokes are definitely accurate.

Believe it or not, this isn't the only time that a Canadian driver has driven into a building. Just last month, Narcity reported an incident where a woman smashed her car through a community centre and ended up in the pool.

Police released footage of a 36-year-old woman near Toronto driving her car through the centre before landing in a children's pool. Luckily, there were no injuries at the time since nobody was in the pool.

Yet, the driver did get charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, mischief, damage of property of $2000, and danger to property endangering a life.
