Casa Loma Will Be Transformed Into A Massive Haunted Castle This Fall
Get ready, Toronto - your greatest nightmares will be brought to life this fall as Casa Loma will be turned into a giant castle of horrors.
Legends of Horror is an annual event that takes courageous participants on a 1.75-km self-guided walking tour around a horror-themed Casa Loma. The adventure begins at the lower gardens and makes its way through the castle's tunnels, chambers and darkest spaces. These have never been open to the public before.
The one-hour experience involves a series of intricately designed sets that are brought to life with 3D projections and live actors portraying classic characters from the horror genre. Come across favourites like Dracula, the Phantom of the Opera, and even the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
An intensity of sounds, lighting, strobes, dampness, and special effects makes this event unsuitable for those with heart problems, respiratory issues, seizures or claustrophobia.
The event will run from September 29 to October 31 for the 2017 season and tickets can be purchased online at their website within the upcoming days.
