Canadian Professor Fired After Allegedly Demanding Sex, Lobster And Moose Meat From A Student For Better Grades

The student claims the instructor demanded these items because "her grades depended on it".

A Canadian instructor has been fired from their position at Cape Breton University after they allegedly demanded sex, moose meat and lobster from a student in exchange for better grades. A female student, who was seeking help in course work went to the instructor for help, when he reportedly demanded goods in exchange for her grades. The female student claims that she reported the issue to university officials.

The Chronicle Herald interviewed the student, who wished not to be named, about the incidents leading up to the instructors' termination. The student claims that the issues with this instructor first started to arise when she was struggling with her grades in one of her University classes. When she started to talk to the instructor about the course work, he suggested that she should bring him moose meat and lobster in order for her to obtain better grades.

The student told the Chronicle Herald that she was aware that what she was doing was wrong, but she was struggling with a quiz that counted for a large part of her grade and went to go deliver the moose meat and lobster to the teacher as per his demands.

The student claims that when the teacher came to her car to pick up the meat, he also demanded that they had sex because her "grades depended on it." The student claims that she continued to refuse his sexual advances, but the instructor kept claiming that she had to do it to pass the quiz.

Eventually, the student claimed she was able to turn him down and the instructor went back into the building, taking the lobster and moose meat with him. The student claims that she immediately went to go report the incident to University officials.

The student states that the University of Cape Breton was very supportive during the case at the professor has now been terminated from his job.

However, the University of Cape Breton will not confirm if these incidents actually did occur within their school. When the Chronicle Herald reached out to the school, the spokesperson would make no comment on the issue.

The spokesperson stated, "Cape Breton University is committed to a safe and respectful campus for all of our community members. Any and all complaints follow a formal process, as indicated in our respectful campus policy. We won’t be commenting further.”

Sadly, University officials using their position to demand sexual favours and goods is something that has happened in the past. Earlier this year, Narcity reported on an Ontario professor who was no longer able to teach again after sexually assaulting his students.
