Cineplex Is Giving Out Free Popcorn At All Theatres Across Canada This Friday

You should head over to a Cineplex theatre near you this Friday, because the company is giving away free popcorn with your movie at all of its 163 locations across Canada.

The promotion is part of Cineplex's celebration of National Popcorn Day. Pat Marshall, the Vice President of Communications and Investor Relations, says that the company is "very excited to celebrate National Popcorn Day at our entire network of theatres coast-to-coast as well as on the streets of Toronto."

Everyone with a SCENE card can receive a free small bag to accompany their movie, and all they need to do is scan their membership cards (or their barcodes on the SCENE app) at the concession stand.

The offer is valid for one bag per SCENE member and cannot be used with other concession promos.

In the Greater Toronto Area, there will also be popcorn-inspired food trucks stopping at high-traffic areas in the city to hand out free popcorn to passerbys. For more information, visit Cineplex.com.
