Nope, that's not a typo. Cineplex is actually hosting an 18-hour long movie marathon for Star Wars fans! The event is in preparation for the release of the newest movie in the Star Wars franchise, 'The Last Jedi' that will be coming out in theatres on December 15th.
If you are a massive Star Wars fan, you probably already have a countdown for the new movie so the release date is probably nothing new for you. Though, you might not have known that Cineplex has decided to compile all eight movies into one 18 hour experience. That's right, from 'A New Hope' to the prequels, it's the ultimate Star Wars event!

The event will run you $80 for admission, but considering you'll be seeing 8 movies, it ends up being cheaper than if you were to see the 8 movies separately in the theatres! In regards to when and where the event will be, you'll have to head over to the Scotiabank Theatre on Richmond St. to enjoy this exclusive event on December 13th, which includes an early viewing of the newest movie the day before it comes out!
If you don't think you could last the whole 18 hours but still want to get in on the Star Wars fun past just seeing the new movie, there is another option available! You can catch a double feature that includes 'The Force Awakens' and 'The Last Jedi' that is being screened at the Yonge and Dundas theatre as well as Cineplex's Colossus Theatre in Vaughan.
