People Aren’t Happy About This Donald Trump Protest Display In Toronto (PHOTO)

For once, it's not Doug Ford's face that's being plastered all over the city.

Canadians have a complicated relationship with Donald Trump. On the one hand, we didn't elect him, so he really isn't our problem. However, since the US is Canada's neighbour to the south, Canada is forced to rely on the US in many areas. For instance, we rely heavily on the US military as a means for support and protection. One might see the US kind of like Canada's older brother. However, when your older brother is Donald Trump, things can get a little heated.

Trump has thrown shade at Canada more than a few times since taking office in 2016. He's started a trade war with us, he has declared us a threat to national security, and he's also straight up trolled Justin Trudeau a handful of times on Twitter.

Canada's recent conflicts with Trump's America perhaps makes it unsurprising that someone in Toronto recently decided to hit back at the controversial president by plastering his face across a bunch of trash bins in the city. Contorted, angry Trump faces covered multiple different waste bins in Toronto's graffiti alley, famous for being a canvas for the city's street artists.

The photo of the bins surfaced on Toronto's Reddit page on Tuesday night with the caption, "If only taking out the trash was this easy." Take a look:

Based on the comments, the protester's handiwork didn't get rave reviews. Most people weren't too impressed with the gesture. The overall vibe in the comments section was that the protest was a waste of time and resources and seemed more like a personal obsession than a motion for change.

"It's definitely an obsession, they probably want to f--k him unironically," wrote one blunt user. Others compared Trump to Trudeau, stating that the president currently has a higher approval rating than our prime minister. However, not everyone saw the merit of such statistics:

It appears as though the overall opinion of the protest is that it is redundant. Many commenters question the protesters' reasoning behind the display. Many don't see it as effective - if the person really wanted to make a statement, they should take part in a protest with an actual purpose.
