Drake’s Baby Mama Sophie Brussaux Has Had A Busy Year Since Moving To Toronto
It's no secret that nearly every celebrity has some sort of scandal in their career, but some are much bigger than others. For instance, when the world found out about Drake's baby mama Sophie Brussaux, it's safe to say that "nothing was the same" for the rapper.
Rewind back to May of 2018, if you will. Drake and fellow rapper Pusha T were publically throwing shots at one another in the midst of their beef, and while everything seemed harmless enough at first, that all changed when Pusha dropped a bomb — Drake had been hiding a son from the world.
In the track "The Story of Adidon", Pusha not only outed Drake for an old black-face photo but also revealed that the Canadian rapper had gotten an adult film star pregnant and that she had given birth to their son, who they named Adonis.
This news totally took the world by storm. Nobody knew whether they should believe Pusha's diss track, but Drizzy never denied Adonis as his own, and so his fans quickly began to congratulate him on fatherhood.
As you may expect, people were incredibly curious about the mother of Drake's child, and although she kept her life pretty private at first, Sophie Brussaux has started to embrace life in the spotlight.
The former pornstar was born in France, although she ended up moving to Toronto earlier this year after she accepted a job as Arts Helps Artistic Director.
As it turns out, Brussaux is a very talented artist herself, so this new job allows her not only to be closer to her baby daddy but also to show off her creative talents.
Since moving to the city back in May, Brussaux has kept incredibly busy between work, travelling, and taking care of Adonis.
She's taken the time to head back to France to visit her friends and family and has also posted photos in Spain, Italy, Amsterdam, and Rome.
During her trip to Rome, the mother of one was honoured to meet Pope Francis, and even gifted him with a portrait that she had painted of him.
When she's not travelling, Brussaux spends her time in the 6ix mentoring students at Ryerson University, giving talks at York University, and putting in work as an activist at Toronto's City Hall.
If her Instagram page is any indication, it's safe to say that Brussaux is on the come up in Toronto due to her strong work ethic. You never know, she might be as big as Drake one day!
