Austin Is Hosting The Largest FREE Street Festival In Central Texas This Fall
Who doesn't love a street fest filled with new foods to try and endless things to do? No one, that's who! The only thing that could possibly make a street fest better is it being totally and completely free. Fall Pecan Street Fest in Austin has you covered on that front and every other thing you could possibly need. September, we're eagerly awaiting you!
On Saturday, September 21 until Sunday, September 22, you can enjoy this amazing and free street festival all day long. Saturday the fest will go on from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday it'll end a little earlier at 8 p.m. There'll be plenty of time to enjoy all the festival has to offer, whether you go one or both days. Though, we'd argue going both is the best idea here.
Fall Pecan Street Festival will be bringing Austinites 300 artisan vendors, 30 food concessions, 50 bands and more! These are some pretty insane numbers, so you can see how it truly would be the largest festival in all of Central Texas. Everything's bigger in Texas, after all.
There'll also be tons of cool and quirky street performers to interact with while you're there. A family-friendly rides section will be designated within the fest to show you and the little ones all kinds of thrills and chills. The food options are endless with 30 concessions serving up the best street food in the city, and that's guaranteed since Austin Events always bring the heat when it comes to delicious vendors.
