A Viral TikTok Shows A Man Crashed Into A Florida Firework Store & Blew Up The Place
The fire was reportedly fatal.
A man crashed into a fireworks store in Melbourne, FL on November 28 and reportedly died as the building went up in flames.
According to WFTV, a two-vehicle crash caused both cars to travel through the intersection and into the retail parking lot. The media outlet reports that only one of the cars continued to collide with the Phantom Fireworks installations and officials told the publication that the driver of that vehicle died.
Authorities also told WFTV that two employees were inside the store, but both escaped the flames safely.
The West Melbourne Police Department published on their Facebook page that the road was closed at John Rodes Blvd. and US192 as they worked to extinguish the flames.
It was deemed a total loss after they worked together with Brevard County Sheriff's Office, Brevard County Fire Rescue, and Melbourne Fire Department.
One Florida resident commented on WMPD's Facebook post that she saw one of the employees make it out of the building.
Additionally, a viral video on TikTok shows what happened as the car was lodged into the place, which was immediately surrounded by a billow of dark smoke and fireworks detonating.

The clip was published shortly after the incident and received 15.7 million views. You can distinctly hear different fireworks firing off as it just began.
Though this account (@spaceforcessgt) only got the beginning of the incident that brought fire crews there all night, they did get a video of the aftermath.
You can see practically a shell of a building and it is completely caved in.
Narcity reached out to WMPD and the Tiktoker requesting comment, though neither has immediately responded.
