Halifax Will Be Throwing A Massive Free Concert On New Years Eve

You won't believe who's headlining!

This New Years Eve, Canada will begin it’s 150th year of confederation, and the City of Halifax is going to be full of awesome free celebrations that you won’t want to miss!  In partnership with Eastlink, the HRM will be putting on incredible free shows on the night of the 31st at the Grand Parade and the Emera Oval.

Start your night at the Grand Parade, where Juno Award winner The Strumbellas will hit the stage with Ria Mae at 10pm.  Stick around and party until midnight, when a massive fireworks display will take place at the stroke of midnight!

If you’re looking for a more low key celebration, go for a skate and check out the fireworks at the Emera Oval, which will also be going off at midnight.  It should be a wild night, so celebrate Canada’s 150th confederation birthday in style at one of these phenomenal free events.  For more info on Halifax’s New Years Eve schedule click here.
