You Can Treat Your Valentine To Heart-Shaped Doughnuts In Vancouver This Friday

Lucky's Doughnuts is a local gem churning out doughnuts from inside 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters locations. They're loved for their hand-made donuts made the old fashioned way.

So naturally, we are thrilled to hear they launched new menu items. Available for one day only, you'll be able to get their new romantic desserts at all three 49th Parallel Cafe locations.  

Instead of roses, you surprise your special someone with a box of doughnuts. As who wouldn't want a box of these?

Stepping inside the cafe, you'll enjoy the heavenly sweet smell of the sugary treats. Be warned; there are so many delicious options you might even want to pick up two boxes worth.

Lucky's Doughnuts told Narcity in an email that on Friday, they will be making all their Bismark flavours and crullers into hearts. 

Some of the tasty options include the Tiramisu Bismark, with a honey mascarpone filling and is covered in an espresso glaze and cocoa powder. What Valentine wouldn't want that?

Or you can try the Lemon Meringue Bismarck, which has a tart lemon curd, and a torched Swiss meringue.

Other not to miss options include Earl Grey lavender, the chocolate-lovers Long John, or the classic mix of peanut butter and jelly.

As far as gifts go, this won't break the bank. Each heart-shaped treat is just $3.50 plus tax.

For a sweet date idea, you could always make a sugar stop with your date. In addition to ordering a doughnut, you'll also be able to enjoy a ruby rose hot chocolate, which will be available all day too.
