Yesterday, his publicist Diana Baron released a statement regarding his death. She confirmed that he had passed away on Friday, April 20th in Muscat, Oman.

Avicii was vacationing with friends in the Middle East before the tragic event. The day before he passed away, he took multiple photos with fans at the Muscat Hills Resort where he was staying.
According to reports, the resort confirmed that he was "extremely kind during his stay and definitely did seem to be in good spirits while enjoying his time."

TMZ just reported that autopsies were performed on Avicii on both Friday and Saturday and the conclusion is that there is no criminal suspicion in his death.
