This Calgary Heated Pool Is A Tropical Oasis Where You Can Wait For Winter To Be Over
After what feels like weeks of freezing weather, you might be ready for spring to arrive. Unfortunately, we still have to wait for the snow to melt, but we did find a new spot where you can escape the cold. This indoor Calgary pool is a warm tropical oasis and the perfect place to wait for winter to be over.
Hotel Arts Poolside Patio is now open year-round. They have added a huge inflatable shelter so you can enjoy a dip in the pool, no matter the temperature outside.
Inside it feels like you're on a sunny island getaway. You'll see the refreshing turquoise water in the pool, and plenty of leafy palm trees. It's one of the best places to go if you're trying to hide from the cold in Calgary.
Plus, you'll be able to ditch your jacket, as it is kept at a delightful 24 C. It is such a pleasant beachy atmosphere you might even forget it isn't summer.
So go ahead and lounge next to the pool, or go for a swim. If you post pictures of your visit on social media, your friends might not believe you aren't in the Caribbean.
If you are heading here with a group, you'll be happy to discover there are tons of spacious sectionals with fire pits.

You'll also be able to get a bite to eat from the Yellow Door Bistro and Raw Bar, with happy hour happening daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Access to the Poolside is complimentary to guests of the hotel. But non-hotel guests can visit on a first-come first-served basis.
It will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the winter, and 7 a.m till dusk in the summer.
Check their website before you make plans to go because they sometimes have pool closures.*
The fee is $10 per person from Monday to Thursday, or $20 Friday to Sunday and during Stampede.
Throughout the year, they will also be hosting a variety of parties, too. They just had a massive Super Bowl event on Sunday, February 2, 2020 where you could watch Shakira and J.Lo's epic half time show.
