Jagmeet Singh's Wife Just Posted About Meghan Markle's Canadian Move & It's The Sweetest

Ever since she came into the limelight during Canada’s 2019 federal election, Gurkiran Kaur, wife of Jagmeet Singh, has had Canadians swooning. As well as being a businesswoman, entrepreneur, fashion queen and Instagram-icon, Kaur has now also proved she’s a total sweetheart, as she posted the loveliest message about Meghan Markle’s move to Canada.

Kaur has proved herself to be a social media superstar while her husband was running in Canada's election and has since gained more than 140,000 Instagram followers.

Between sharing her incredible clothing line, and posting cute selfies with her husband, Kaur has taken the time to welcome Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to Canada, and she did it in the sweetest way possible.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Friday afternoon, Kaur shared an image, originally posted by actress Jameela Jamil, which gave an unofficial definition to the Duchess of Sussex’s name.

The screenshot read, “To Meghan Markle; To value yourself and mental health enough to up and leave a room / situation / environment in which your authentic self is not welcomed or wanted.”

Her post comes as Markle and her husband have officially decided to move part-time to Canada.

In an unexpected Instagram statement earlier this year, the young couple announced their desire to step back from their royal duties, adding that they’d like to become financially independent and enjoy a life with a little more privacy.

While their exact plans remain unknown, some people believe that the couple were pushed away from their life in the U.K. by the British tabloids, who have been accused of scrutinizing Markle since day one.

The pair has even sued the British press in the past, over their “continual misrepresentations” of the former American actress.

The Duchess of Sussex has also previously admitted that she struggled with the "intense media scrutiny" that she faced during her time in the U.K.

Regardless of the reason that Prince Harry and Meghan decided to head to Canada, their safety and happiness is the most important thing.

And, after Kaur’s cute Insta post, we can only hope these two eventually become BFFs!
