This $1M Home In Vancouver Is More Of A Nightmare Than A Dream (PHOTOS)

Everyone dreamed of having a million-dollar house when they were little, but a million-dollar home in Vancouver these days probably looks less like the dream home from your childhood. We found an "affordable" option in the Vancouver housing market and it's the perfect home for a certain kind of buyer. We're just not sure exactly who.

The home is located on 317 Prior Street in Vancouver's Strathcona neighbourhood. It's super close to Science World, the Main Street Skytrain Station and right in the heart of a vibrant community.

The listing price is $998,800 and it's just shy of $1 million. The price and the location of the home are amazing, but we've seen homes in better conditions. Still, it's pretty rare to even be able to find a home for under $1 million. It's pretty crazy to even expect people to have that much money in a lifetime and we all know that we'll be close to 80-years-old by the time we can afford a home.

Don't have one million? You can always get yourself a cheap tiny house and take the show on the road. Or, if you have more cash than you know what to do with, you could always get this spaceship-looking house in Kelowna.

The exterior of the house is mint green and it has a pleasant, classic shape. The listing is pretty straight forward and says that this place has "lots of future possibilities" and admits that it's "mostly land value." Curiously, the listing details that the home is sold as-is.

Any chefs looking for a home with a gourmet kitchen may be disappointed to see that it's hard to gauge the size of the kitchen from these photos.
