Natalie From 'Love Is Blind' Updated Her Relationship Status With Shayne & She's Never Been Happier

Relationships are hard work, so imagine trying to have one while filming a reality show that is all about whether you say 'I do.'

Natalie Lee and Shayne Jansen from Love Is Blind Season 2 fell for each other and got engaged in front of the cameras. After watching Jansen's struggle to pick between Lee and contestant Shaina Hurley, viewers followed the couple's journey to the altar, where Lee eventually said 'I don't.'

During an interview with Narcity, Lee spoke about what went wrong, and why they decided not to get married.

"We continued dating or continued our engagement after the wedding. And we stayed together for several months," said Lee, who dished on her relationship with Jansen during and after the show.

After walking away from the altar, the two wanted to test out their relationship dynamic with the cameras no longer there, so they continued dating while still engaged and then split up a few months later.

"We just want to give it another shot without the cameras and the pressure of making a decision to be married or not, and it didn't work out, so we did end that relationship," added Lee, who says she and Jansen are on good terms.

Jansen has also made it clear that it's all good between him and Lee, on his social media.

"As I reflect back on the pods and my time in Mexico, I made some great connections and lifelong friends. I want to make sure everyone knows that Natalie is an incredible woman with a huge heart," said Jansen a few days ago, on his Instagram account.

With the premiere of the second season of the show approached, Lee and Jansen got back in touch.

"We went through a period where we didn't talk, but I think that with the show coming out, and seeing those memories again, on-screen - I would consider we're friends now," she added.

On March 1st, the pair dedicated Instagram posts to each other, and Lee said to Shayne that she "could not have asked for a better partner in this."

When asked about her feelings current for Shayne, Lee, who stated that going into the show, she wasn't actually looking to get engaged, said "We definitely have a bond through this experience we went through, and I still have a lot of love for him."

As far as her strategy going into the pods, she said, "I didn't have a strategy. I think I just went in with an open mind. I really just was like, 'I can enjoy the experience but if I find someone, I find someone if I don't, I don't, and you know, I did I did find someone."
