The days of mooching your friend's Netflix login may soon be a thing of the past.

According to Gamma Wire, the streaming service has sent out warnings to some who seem to be using a Netflix login outside of the account owner's home, asking them to verify that they are permitted to do so.

If the message pops up on your screen, you will be able to request a verification code via text message or email, meaning if you are still cool with whoever's account you're using, you can simply ask them to send you the code.

A Netflix representative told FOX Business that the tests are just being used to make sure people are allowed to stream with the accounts they are using.

The warning messages are just being tested out right now and you can even bypass the message by clicking the "verify later" button, meaning your account mooching can continue for the foreseeable future.
