Dallas' Brand New Museum Full Of Crazy Optical Illusions Has Galaxy Infinity Mirror Rooms
There have been so many cool and fun images circulating social media when it comes to optical illusion museums. The museum concept began back in 2015 and began growing in demand a couple of years later. The first one to grow in popularity was the Museum of Illusions in Los Angeles, California that opened last winter. Ever since then, it's been an on-going trend that has been opening in many other cities. Dallas has become one of these cities and has opened a Dallas Museum of Illusions of their own this month!
Taking place of the former steakhouse Palm, the Museum of Illusions has finally opened and has over 60 installations to satisfy all your photo needs.
Dallas' museum is the third to open in the states following Kansas City and New York so I'm sure Dallasites feel super lucky!
With so many other museums in the area, I'm sure it can be overwhelming to know if this particular one is worth it.
The purpose of the Museum of Illusions is to trick visitors' brains with the angles of their props as well as give insight into how the brain perceives the images we take in.
They've definitely achieved that because every photo that is taken at this museum will have you tripping up at some point!
Some of the more popular photo locations are a vortex tunnel, a reverse room, a tilted room, an especially popular, infinity room, a kaleidoscope room, and much, much more.
They are open every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and have family-friendly pricing for groups larger than 4.
They also honor our veterans and students for a special price of $17 instead of the general admission of $20.
This is the perfect date for your best friends and your significant other to grab some great photos and best of all, to have some fun!
