You Can Meet & Adopt Adorable Doggos At An Ottawa Sens Game Next Week
As if going to a Sens game wasn’t already a good time, your list of reasons to attend is about to get a little longer and a whole lot fluffier. In an effort to celebrate their furry fans, the capital's NHL team is hosting eight local rescue dogs at their upcoming home game. And you can even adopt one of them! So, whether you’re ready to be someone’s furever home or you simply want to cuddle all the doggos, you need to check out Ottawa Senators Furry Fans Night.
Slated for Thursday, February 20, you can come out for the game against the Winnipeg Jets and meet some seriously cute canines from Ottawa’s Freedom Dog Rescue.
Members from Golden Rescue will also be on-site with information regarding even more pups who are looking for homes but couldn’t make it to the arena.
Look, it's obvious already that pups and pucks go hand in hand.
Whether it's NHL stars showing off their perfect pooches or local games where you can actually bring your dog, this is undeniably a winning combo.
And, with tickets for this game starting at just $30, you really don’t have a reason to miss out on what might be the most adorable Sens game all year.

Major-league puck, the chance to take a dog home, and all for an affordable price? Woof, indeed.
This is not the first time the Ottawa team has come together to support local dogs, and we’re sure it won’t be the last, either.

Between past Furry Friends nights and Rookie, the adorable doggo the Sens adopted and trained to become a CNIB guide dog last year, it’s clear this team loves dogs.
And who can blame them?

And, truthfully, with dogs this sweet, we might all end up in tears just like Brady Tkachuk’s unexpected Valentine.
