Vancouver's Grouse Mountain Will Transform Into A Christmas Village This Winter

You won't even recognize this majestic mountaintop during the holidays.

Get ready for another Christmas extravaganza. If you enjoy interactive light shows, Santa and reindeer, then listen up. The Peak of Christmas at Grouse Mountain 2019 is taking over Vancouver for another year in a row. This annual event is everything your festive dreams are made of.

Christmas events are starting to pop up all over the place. During the wintertime, B.C. becomes a wonderland full of amazing craft fairs, light displays, and general holiday cheer. Returning this year to Vancouver is the Peak of Christmas light show.

You won't even recognize the popular mountaintop as it gets completely transformed into a holiday village. As you make your way around the event, thousands of twinkling Christmas lights will illuminate the area. It’s similar to the world’s largest Christmas maze happening in Seattle.

Not only will there be lights, but there will also be ice skating on an 8,000-square-foot pond, sleigh rides and visits with Santa. Rumour has it, his reindeer will also be in attendance. Tickets of the event are on sale now and if you buy soon, you will be able to save some money.

The best part of the entire experience is the breathtaking light tunnel installation. As you walk through, you will feel like you’re in a holiday movie living out your biggest dream come true.

When you’re done taking in all the lights, strap on your skates. The rink is gorgeous and is surrounded by snow-topped trees filled with lights.

If you want to relax for a bit, visit the Theatre in the Sky and enjoy a Christmas movie or two on the big screen.

Whatever you do, just be sure to take your time and walk around. Santa and his reindeer will be out and about so maybe stop by and make a Christmas wish.

Tickets for the event are on sale now. For only $59 you can take in the sights from November 22, 2019, to January 5, 2020.
