PEI Country Home For Sale Is A Luxurious Mansion Surrounded By Nature (PHOTOS)
Most people think of a country house as being a quaint, cozy little place to get away from everything. However, one PEI house for sale totally bucks that trend. It's a massive, modern mansion set against a beautiful waterfront backdrop.
Located on Route 6 in Green Gables, this 4,891 square foot house is nothing like you would expect from a house that's seemingly dropped in the middle of nowhere.
The gorgeous exterior is matched by the glamorous interior which blends old-style architecture with more modern conveniences.
Upon entering, you will first notice the massively high ceilings adorned with wood, which almost makes the place feel more like a cottage.
However, you'll soon be swept up by the rest of the stylish touches, including a ton of massive windows to let in plenty of natural light.
The generous kitchen, complete with a huge island and stainless steel appliances, is perfect for anyone who loves to cook.
The main floor also provides a lovely dining area and living room, as well as huge doors that lead out to a nicely-sized deck.

The master bedroom occupies the third level of the house, and includes a beautiful en-suite with a whirlpool tub and a giant shower.
It also features a walk-in closet and its own sitting room. This space alone could be bigger than many downtown city condos!

On top of all of the space and natural beauty, its the little touches that make this place so special. This includes imported Italian sinks, custom bathroom slate, and a geothermal heating system.
All of the comfort afforded by this Prince Edward Island house can be yours for just $1.6 million. While that seems like a hefty price tag, keep in mind that some bungalows in Toronto cost even more than that.

For those with canine companions, the main floor also offers a dedicated dog-washing area in the laundry room, as well as a doggy door to a run outside!
