The Phoenix Zoo Is Having A Boozy Adults-Only Night In March With $5 Drinks
Springtime is our favorite because we can take advantage of the amazing weather. It's also the perfect time to go on outdoor adventures, like this one! The Phoenix Zoo adults night is going to be awesome and we promise you won't want to miss out on it.
On March 5, you can visit the Roars and Pours event from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. It's for people aged 21 years and up and admission costs $10 per person. You'll have an amazing kid-free time.
There will be stands selling wine and beer plus a huge food court area with tents from local restaurants. All the booze has happy hour pricing, which means all drinks are $5. It's the wildest happy hour in the Valley!
You can play oversized field games like Connect 4, tic-tac-toe, and cornhole or play zoo games like chicken poop bingo. It's really fun, we promise.
Sip some wine while you listen to a hyena laugh, enjoy a street taco as the orangutangs swing about. Below, you'll find the list of trails that will be open during the event:
- Africa Trail
- Arizona Trail
- Equine Trail
- Inner Tropics (Monkey Village will not be viewable)
- Lakeside Loop
- Plaza
Some exhibits will not be open, including the rhino and elephant enclosures and the goat area, so plan accordingly.
Did we mention you can ride a camel? Rides are only $4 and we hear the camels are pretty friendly. There's also a $4 narrated safari cruiser tour that takes you around the zoo.
Are these some Indiana Jones vibes or what?
Live music will be playing in the food court area and local radio stations will be present, pumping out music throughout some of the speakers near the entrance.
Grab your pals and head here for some serious monkey business.
You can meet some of the animals up close including the giraffes, the orangutangs, and some bunnies.
It's basically the ideal zoo visit. Especially since there will be affordable drinks. Count us in!
The pathways are lit up at night so even when it's dark you can still navigate your way around. Whether you go for the games, the animals, the food or the booze, this adults-only zoo night is the ultimate date night or evening with friends.
