Prince Harry Admits Archie Thinks Snow Is “Brilliant” After Seeing It In Canada
He may still be new to Canada, but Prince Harry's son Archie is already loving the weather here, according to his father. The Duke of Sussex recently gave his first speech since news broke about him and his wife's exit from the Royal Family, during which he shared a heartwarming update about his 8-month old.
Although Harry is still currently in the U.K. tending to some royal affairs, Meghan Markle made her way back to Canada earlier this month to be with Archie.
Despite the distance, Harry seems to be well updated on his son's life and even revealed that Archie recently had his first encounter with snow.
"It has also been a privilege to meet so many of you, and to feel your excitement for our son Archie, who saw snow for the first time the other day and thought it was bloody brilliant," the Duke of Sussex shared with a crowd on Sunday evening.
The father of one was attending an event for his Sentebale charity — an organization whose purpose is to support both the mental health and wellbeing of children who are living with HIV.
According to PEOPLE, it's been confirmed that Prince Harry will remain in the U.K. for at least a few more days to attend meetings before returning to Canada to be with his family.
The 35-year-old has spent his fair share of time in the Commonwealth country recently before deciding to make the big move.
The family of three spent the holiday season on Vancouver Island and in Toronto visiting Markle's close friend, Jessica Mulroney.
During his Sunday evening speech, the Duke of Sussex also addressed his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth's comments on the family of three's exit from their duties as royals.
"I will always have the utmost respect for my grandmother, my commander in chief, and I am incredibly grateful to her and the rest of my family, for the support they have shown Meghan and I over the last few months," Prince Harry told the crowd.
"I will continue to be the same man who holds his country dear and dedicates his life to supporting the causes, charities and military communities that are so important to me. Together, you have given me an education about living. And this role has taught me more about what is right and just than I could have ever imagined. We are taking a leap of faith – thank you for giving me the courage to take this next step."
