Redditor Who Started GameStop Stock Frenzy Just Lost A Ridiculous Amount Of Money

From double digits to single digits. šŸ’ø

The Redditor who led the charge in the GameStop stock frenzy last week has now lost millions.

Keith Gill, also known as "DeepF***ingValue" on Reddit, posted in the now-famous Reddit page "r/wallstreetbets" saying the values of his GameStop holdings had dropped to just $7.6 million, which is quite low compared to what he had.

The day prior to taking the loss, Gill was sitting on $21 million, which is still down from the nearly $50 million he had last week when GameStop shares peaked at a whopping $483 each.

The Redditor posted his brokerage statement Tuesday night.

CBS News reports GameStop shares went slightly up on Wednesday, reaching just over $93 a share.

But the video game retailer has seen a tremendous plunge since the fiasco began last week, losing over 80% of its value, which lead to a nearly $30 billion loss for GameStop investors.Ā
