There IS a God. Hallelujah, Derek Morgan is back baby. After 11 seasons of playing Derek Morgan, Shemar Moore left the show in 2016, breaking all of our hearts, collectively. Though Moore has returned to do guest spots on the show since his departure, this will be a full blown character reprise that's sure to delight fans everywhere.

Shemar had originally left Criminal Minds to pursue a role on a drama called S.W.A.T., which will premiere this November but is somehow able to balance both jobs. Moore left Criminal Minds on a positive note, saying he'd always be open to come back to "dance and play" which he is most definitely doing now.

27 days until @swatcbs changes the game!!! We are coming baby!!! ... and on NOV 3rd when you wake up your mind is still gonna be messed up because you're not gonna know what hit you!
