6 Shows To Watch On Netflix Canada After You've Finished Season 2 Of "The Sinner"
I think that a lot of us would be absolutely horrified to witness a crime in real life, or worse, be a part of one ourselves, but for some reason, we love to watch them play out on TV. A series that's great for crime drama lovers is The Sinner - the show's second season scored a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, and people can't stop raving about it. If you've already watched it, here are six shows like The Sinner on Netflix Canada.
If there's one genre that Netflix always kills, it's crime drama. With so many awesome options available for streaming, you'll definitely have your hands full this fall!
Secret City
Rating: 7.4/10 on IMDb
Why you need to watch it: If you're sick and tired of watching American crime dramas, why not check out the Australian drama Secret City? The series follows Harriet Dunkley, a senior political journalist who uncovers several conspiracies that put her life in danger.
Mindhunter
Rating: 8.6/10 on IMDb
Why you need to watch it: I recently hopped on the Mindhunter bandwagon, and I honestly can't say enough good things about the show. Based loosely on real characters and events, Mindhunter is set in the 1970s as the FBI begins a special project which leads to the development of the term "serial killer".
Black Spot
Rating: 7.6/10 on IMDb
Why you need to watch it: Much like the other shows on this list, Black Spot is a crime drama. This specific show follows a police chief and a new prosecutor as they investigate a string of eerie crimes that happened in the small town on the edge of a forest.
The Break
Rating: 6.6/10 on IMDb
Why you need to watch it: The Break tells the story of a police detective who moves back to his hometown while mourning a painful loss. Not long after arriving, he finds himself being pulled into a mysterious murder case that brings forward a ton of dark secrets.
Broadchurch
Rating: 8.4/10 on IMDb
Why you need to watch it: If you're looking for a series that's going to take a while to binge, Broadchurch has three seasons and is a great option. The series is about the murder of a young boy in a small coastal town. The media frenzy that results has a horrendous impact on the townspeople, and things change forever.
The Blacklist
Rating: 8/10 on IMDb
Why you need to watch it: The Blacklist is heading into its seventh season, which I think is a pretty good attestment to how good it is. The show is about mysterious criminal Raymond Reddington who turns himself in unexpectedly but only wants to speak to one specific FBI profiler.
