âDonât be a super-spreader this #SuperBowl Sunday,â he wrote.
Instead of hosting or attending parties and events, he pleaded with sports fans to stay at home and âconnect with your friends online instead.â
The Canadian PM also made reference to an age-old Super Bowl tradition â eating chilli!
âBecause letâs be real,â he said. âIt doesnât matter how good their chilli recipe is, itâs not worth getting sick or putting your loved ones at risk.â
Itâs a message thatâs been backed-up by public health officials, too. The same day, Dr. Theresa Tam reminded Canadians that âa strong defensive frontâ was necessary to tackle COVID-19.
While hosting Saturday Night Live (SNL) for the first time over the weekend, Dan Levy starred in a skit about a Super Bowl party that ends up going pretty wrong.
