The LRT is set to open this year and The City of Ottawa has announced 40 names for the rail cars. Months ago The City of Ottawa announced a contest that was open to children under 16 letting them choose names for the light rail coming to Ottawa.
People got super creative with their submissions, but I have to say that The City of Ottawa definitely chose the best and most Canadian names. I personally cannot wait to go for a ride on the Majestic Moose or the Eh-Train. Other super Canadian names include The Mountie, Amik-Beaver, Maple Taffy, and Canada Goose! These names are making us super excited to hop on the Eh-Train for a ride this year.
