The TTC Have Taken Their 'Ride The Rocket' Slogan A Bit Too Seriously

On Tuesday morning a reddit user shared quite an interesting photo of a new TTC sign plastered up at what looks like Downsview bus station. The phallic symbol is believed to be a new installation replacing an old, worn out sign. At this point, ancient and impossible to read is probably better than this.

We can't help but wonder how stuff like this gets approved by all the different levels who surely have to give their stamp of approval before a new, official, TTC sign gets put up. It's not like one of those things, that kind of, maybe, sort of, if you close your left eye and lean on one leg, resembles a penis, No, it is a penis- no ifs ands or buts.

The new poster takes the TTC slogan 'Ride The Rocket to brand new heights and some reddit users couldn't help but nail some clever commentary. Afkilla  summed it up perfectly by saying "It's amazing how one image can sum up the entire TTC experience. Well done." While others argued the poster may be better suited for stations like 'Coxwell' 'Woodbine' or perhaps 'Dong Mills.'

We're interested to see just how long this new design will last. For now, we'll be sure to avoid Downsview station when travelling with anyone under the age of 12 or over the age of 70, awkwaaaaaard.
