This 1.5 Km Boardwalk Trail Will Take You Through A Surreal Forest Marsh In Ontario This Spring
I think we can all agree that spring is the perfect time to get outside and explore the beautiful province that we live in. During springtime, the weather is that perfect temperature where it's not too cold, all you need is a light jacket and it's not too hot that you're sweating from being outside for 2 minutes.
Many of us are so lucky to call Ontario our home because it has the perfect mix of city life, beautiful waterfront, and an abundance of nature! One of my favourite things to do when the weather warms up is to explore all the scenic boardwalk trails and the Spruce Bog Boardwalk Trail is definitely on my list this year.

The Spruce Bog Boardwalk Trail is located inside our infamous Algonquin Provincial Park and will take visitors a 1.5 km loop through the forest and over a surreal marsh area! The trail is one of the easiest in the area because it's basically just a short and flat trail the entire way.
The trail will take you past a few different bogs within the Algonquin Park forest where you have the opportunity to see nature up close and personal and even some wildlife if you're lucky! The birds in the area are known to land on people's hands if they have some seeds so bring some along if you want to get even closer to nature.

It will take you approximately 1 hour to complete the entire boardwalk trail loop depending on how many pics you snap along the way! It's open all year round so you can even come here in the winter months when the trail is covered with snow, offering a unique and stunning view in itself.
The best thing about this trail is that it's wheelchair accessible and the smooth, groomed boardwalk offers an easy stroll for anyone and everyone!
