The lobby of their hotel has actual ski lift chairs inside as a testament to how much they dig skiing. The Josie even has a dedicated Ski Concierge who will take care of all your gear after your run and can recommend trails for you to explore.
The designer guest rooms at The Josie are decked out in rich reclaimed wood paneling. Rooms have deep soaker tubs and heated floors to help melt your muscles after a day spent on the slopes. You’ll be able to fill your Instagram feed with photos of the mountain resort from the comfort of your own room since the hotel’s suites have floor-to-ceiling windows with dramatic views.
The Velvet, The Josie’s restaurant and lounge, has a focus on local food and wine with a French-inspired twist. It's run by a Quebec-born chef who creates incredible dishes that will fill you up after a day spent skiing. Also, they have 24-hour room service so you can enjoy a late-night burger or breakfast in bed!
At night, toast with a well-deserved après in The Velvet lounge. Their mountain-inspired cocktails somehow taste better when you sip them next to the hotel’s crackling outdoor fireplaces.
The Josie Hotel is now open. It's located at 4306 Red Mountain Road in, Rossland, British Columbia.
