The Escape Company in Orlando has an escape room that lets you jump into a thrilling mystery to start investigating after an FBI agent working the case mysteriously goes missing just 48 hours before. You'll be super sleuthing your way through the house of the prime suspect, Mr. Howard Green, looking for clues before he gets home.
You have 60 minutes to break into Mr. Green's home and look for anything connecting him to the FBI agent's disappearance or the string of 37 missing person cases that have happened in the peaceful neighborhood over the last 5 years. Mr. Green is known to keep a super tight schedule too, so you'll want to hurry if you have any chance of getting out before it's too late.
This Escape Room experience can be done with up to 8 people, so you and your game night crew can test your investigative skills together. Of course - the more minds on the case, the more likely you are to solve it and escape. If you're feeling stuck, they will offer you up to 3 free hints to get you back on the trail.
You won't be able to cheat with a peek of the room beforehand either - they don't allow any photos inside any of their rooms to keep an air of suspense which adds to the whole experience. They will take a picture of you with your team outside the room though, whether you crack the case or not.
Not knowing what to expect makes some people nervous. If you're not feeling up to testing your bravery this time, you can lay low in the bar space; Known as the Hideaway Lounge. In the lounge, you'll be able to get a martini, play board games, do some trivia, or chit chat with the employees as they encourage in their website's FAQs.
To take on The Suburban Serial Killer mystery, it will cost $32.00 per person. If you don't book a private room or have a full team of 7 plus you, there's a possibility that you'll be playing with strangers - so definitely take a look into that when buying your ticket if that isn't chill with you.
