This Texas Coffee Shop Is Being Transformed Into A Winter Wonderland This Holiday Season

Your caffeine kick just got lit

If you’ve already been toasting to the holidays with excessive cheer — ugly Christmas sweater parties here; white elephants there; and happy-hour soirees everywhere in between — we know how you feel. And, we're right there with you.

But, what’s a girl (or guy) to do when you want to keep the season merry — while still looking bright the next day. Well, we have just the place for you to put down the glass of bubbly — for a night, at least — and get lit, without contending with that pesky champagne hangover the next morning.

Mozart’s, the beloved Austin coffee shop, is all dressed up and ready to party with their official Christmas Light Show on the lakeside deck — and, can we just say, it’s totally decked out.

The one million-plus LED lights glittering in the night would be enough, in theory. But, the colorful strands are also coordinated to popular holiday tunes, which will definitely have you singing “joy to the world” the minute you step foot outside into this winter wonderland.

And, what’s a festive outdoor symphony without a hot mocha and a sugar rush. So, you’ll find all the cocoa powder, caffeine fixes, and candied-up treats you could hope for at Mozart's — to go with their glittering Christmas lights.

Even better, admission is free to this enchanting holiday experience. And, there’s no assigned seating, of course. So, bring your friends, make some friends, and fa-la-la-la-la all night long — or, at least, until closing time.

Find all the magic at 3825 Lake Austin Boulevard; the coffee shop stays open until midnight on Sundays through Thursdays, and until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
