This Toronto Bakery Is Selling Bubble Tea Cake And It's Too Good To Share

No straws needed!

The bubble tea craze is hitting Toronto hard, and I get it. Who can resist chewy, sweet bubbles swimming in creamy, flavourful tea? Just recently, bubble tea milkshakes entered the scene, but it looks like they have a new rival. Toronto bubble tea cake is the latest craze and you don't even need a straw to enjoy it.

When I first heard the news, I couldn't imagine what a 'bubble tea cake' would even look like. I can now confirm that it looks absolutely delicious and you need to try it now! Head over to Bake Code to have a taste of this scrumptious new boba treat.

The boba cake has a delicate assembly process for each individual serving. The cake is made up of a fluffy vanilla sponge, topped with two delicious kinds of thick cream. It is then topped with a mound of juicy tapioca pearls. The entire dessert is held together by a circular plastic mould and the real magic happens when you remove it!

The cream and bubbles ooze down over the sides of the cake, and the effect is so satisfying you're going to want to film it! Soon the entire sponge disappears under the avalanche of cream and pearls.

This to-die-for dessert is only available on weekends. You can find it at all Bake Code locations. Is the cake better than the tea? You'll have to try it to find out!
